Just about now I expect you're, like us, beginning to think that now would be the perfect time to get to grips with how the universe works.  At least some of the basic stuff, you know quantum theory, string theory, quantum fields, gravitational waves, and while we're at it understanding the maths behind the chances of finding life on another planet and the time frame for how long we have on this one.

Well Salon Lockdowners - we have great news - we are so pleased to have David Tong, Professor of Theoretical Physics at Trinity College Cambridge on the Salon London digital stage to explain the maths of the universe and we promise if you join us for this dreamy, beautiful tour of the maths of the universe, for one brief moment we shall all understand the secrets of the universe together.

Please join us on the URL below at 7:30pm. This event is free to all - but if you would like to make a donation we have 'Friends of Salon Lockdown' tickets here for £5 to help keep our speakers in cake. Alternatively, become a member and get unlimited access to all Salon events, live and on-line, across the year.
