Rock and Roll Up!

We have put together one big bad bold Salon for our final event of 2013, a fitting culmination of our Autumn season of Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.

Legendary music writer Lloyd Bradley charts 100 years of black music in the capital with 'Sounds of London', beautifully demonstrating how closely the capital's music and social history are entwined. Presented in a Salon favourite format of the audio lecture, Lloyd will literally chart the lasting history of the enduring impact on British life of black music.

Daniel Rachel had the vision and tenacity to interview some of the UK's most original, prolific and influential songwriters, bringing to life our unique Isle of Noises, through a series of intimate interviews, musical knowledge and creative archeology.

Musician and lyrical freestyler, Xidus Pain is no stranger to music promotion, and promotion of positivity and progression is also his bag. He's taking to the Salon stage to take us deep inside the 'Psyche of Hip-Hop'.

If you're not there, you've got to ask yourself, are you anywhere?
