11th September 2014 |

It would be criminal to miss the first in our autumn series of Crime, Punishment and Retribution.

Why? Because we have forensic psychologist Dr David Rouse to explain exactly what happens with homicide. Understand exactly what goes on at a crime scene and why, from his highly specialised and extremely unusual professional point of view.

We have Gill Attrill OBE who will ask you what choices you would make if you ran the Ministry of Justice. Working at the heart of the National Offender Management Service as a forensic psychologist, Gill will task you with balancing treating offenders with protecting the public, and will tell you how your choices would work out!

And we have Jamie Bartlett, the Director of the Centre of the Analysis of Social Media at the think tank Demos which specialises in radical and extremist political movements and technology. He’ll be on hand to explain the future of crime to us, and it’s more terrifying than a poorly constructed rollercoster.

Summer's over. Time to get serious. See you at Salon London. 11th September @ The Proud Archivist, Haggerston, N1. 7:00pm doors for a 7:30pm start.
