On Friday we’ll be in the Town Hall having ‘Sex’ with poet Salena Godden who talked through the poets and the poems that had influenced her, famed author Zoe Pilger is on the Salon stage to explain the joys of writing contemporary sex in literary fiction, and slang expert Jonathon Green will be giving us sex and linguistics simultaneously.

On Saturday, we’re all about ‘Drugs’ as we host neuropsychopharmacologist Professor David Nutt who will reveal the most dangerous drugs of all (you might want to put down your lager and lime for that one), forensic psychologist Kerry Daynes to talk you through the brain on drugs, and author Helen Bagnall will encourage you to experiment as she explores your real relationship with stimulants.

On ‘Rock and Roll’ Sunday author Lloyd Bradley explains 100 years of black music in the capital, Daniel Rachel explores, explains and defines great British song writing, and leading UK singing coach Juliet Russell will help you seek and release your rock’n’roll voice.
