Combining innovation, improvisation and collaboration, Jazz is the maverick that went mainstream. Philosopher Dr Julian Baggini explores the relationship between Jazz and philosophy and reveals what we can learn about how to live, just by listening a little closer.

In this inspiring exploration of The Dao of Jazz, you will get to grips with process, performance and spontaneity, accompanied by a live soundtrack performed by pianist Clive Dunstall and vocalist Juliet Russell; taking you on a dazzling, philosophical journey through music.

Baggini is an award winning author whose easy style encourages you to rethink everything from your identity (The Ego Trick), your free will (Freedom Regained) to the food that you eat (The Virtues of the Table). Baggini has written for the Guardian, the Financial Times, Prospect and the New Statesman, as well as for the Institute of Public Policy Research and Demos. He is editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Philosophers' Magazine. This is a man who knows his philosophy.
