10th May 2021 |

This 10th May, be part of the paperback launch of Natalie Haynes’s Transmission prize-winning, Pandora’s Jar: Women in the Greek Myths.

Yes, we’ll be taking a look at the art in more detail and building on our knowledge as we explore the remarkable women at the heart of the ancient Greek myths with the classicist and prize-winning writer Natalie Haynes.

After millennia of stories telling of gods and men, be they Zeus or Agamemnon, Paris or Odysseus, Oedipus or Jason, the voices that sing from this Salon are those of Hera, Athena and Artemis, and of Clytemnestra, Jocasta, Eurydice and Penelope.

Natalie will be in conversation with Helen Bagnall - we always love to have your questions and thoughts to make it a Salon, and remember we would love you to get your books from us. Love Hearts sent to you with every book.

Monday 10th May at 8pm.

Book on the Salon for £7 or get the book and the livestream (and a watch back function) for just £11.99: Pandora's Jar: Women in the Greek Myths. Or become a member and let us curate a whole year of ideas - and watch whenever you like.
