You and Your Hedonism

Wednesday 3rd December 2014

Salon London presents ‘You and Your Hedonism’ with Guerilla Science founder Zoe Cormier.   As you might have suspected, you are biologically determined to enjoy the season to excess – in fact your DNA demands it.  Zoe’s work has proved finding pleasure in sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll are the universal characteristics of the human condition.  We might deny these subjects obsess, attract and define us but we are hooked and have been since our earliest incarnations.  Over the past four centuries scientists have revealed that our sexual, narcotic and musical characteristics are biologically unsurpassed, and Zoe will explain why you our powerless against their magnetism.

She’ll also explore another truth: were it not for our supposedly ‘base’ impulses, we never would have achieved many ground-breaking scientific discoveries, as she will show hedonism is integral to our progress as human beings.
