Niki Nikitanos is of Greek descent and Australian temperament. However, having felt the warm glow of her adopted Notting Hill during her extensive food safaris around the world, in 2009 she quit the actual sun and sea of Oz and decamped to London for good. Tasked with running an inner city school's catering program for over 100 pupils, creating a pop-up restaurant for Salon's Beiruti Nights was no problem at all. Influences include: Skye Gyngell, Belinda Jeffrey and Karen Martini, and if you ask nicely she'll tell you where to get the best coffee in Notting Hill.
