Leo Hollis is a historian, writer, urbanist and passionate believer that cities are not only essential for our future but hold the key to our health wealth and happiness. His books to date have included:  Historic London Walks and TheStones of London: A History in Twelve Buildings. He also wrote Phoenix: The Men Who Made Modern London.  He is currently beavering away on his new book, Why Cities areGood For You, will be published in summer 2013, and he currently writes a blog under that title. Salon is so pleased he is coming to tell us just why cities are critical to everyone's future as part of our Future Victorians Marylebone residency.
