Kerry Daynes is a Consultant Chartered Forensic Psychologist and Chartered Scientist. Kerry was one of the first Forensic psychologists to train in an NHS setting; she has since worked with some of Britain's most complex and challenging criminals in prison, hospital and community settings. She currently runs two private psychology practices, Kerry Daynes Associates and The Trauma Clinic.  Her team of psychologists and psychotherapists work for a variety of agencies, including making contributions to major police investigations. She acts as an expert witness in criminal, civil and family court proceedings. Therefore, an average working week can involve everything from stressed out parents to serial killers!  Kerry is a patron of the NationalCentre for Domestic Violence and also acts as Supervising Psychologist for Talking2Minds, a national charity that treats current and former members of the military and blue-light services who present with post-traumatic and severe stress-related symptoms.  Kerry regularly makes expert comments for TV vand radio; she presented the 'Making Of A Monster' series for the Crime & Investigation Channel in 2008.  She lives in Manchester with a big hairy dog, Fozzchops, and 'Is There A Psycho In Your Life?' is her first book, and deals with the highly functioning psychopaths that abound in every day life.
