Future Victorians Day III
So, let’s just say we do end up in a dystopian landscape in which we are forced to forage wild land for bits of food, will we have to eat less pesto, the answer fortunately is no. Experienced food forage experts Leo Critchley and Rob Cowen have spent two years spent in the wild finding out exactly how you can supplement our diet in a positive, intelligent way without going beyond our city boundaries.
Professor Charles Spence is the winner of the Ig Nobel prize for Nutrition for proving that the taste of food is affected by the sounds we hear when eating, he proved that food tastes fresher if you play crunchy sounds whilst eating. Charles is the world’s first Gastro Neurscientist is at Salon to prove by hook or by crook that our taste is not as fixed as we thought and can be easily manipulated by maverick experimental psychologists from Oxford University.
When the fossil fuel finally runs out and we're back to living by candlelight, one thing we'll probably be enjoying is the renaissance of Victorian Parlour Games. As always Salon aims to skill you you up before your time of need and our musical Victorian Parlour Game will help to keep you and your loved ones amused during those long evenings in the bunker.
