How to Think Like the Greatest.

April marks us being halfway through our 10th year of Salon London, and so we are creating a brilliantly big Salon for 18th April, showcasing three of our biggest strengths:

The Life Hack:

Join us on the 18th for Pig Wrestling - the life hack. Hear from the elite psychologists Dr Mark Bawden and Pete Linsday as they explain a brilliantly simple way to solve any problem you might be facing and in doing so creating the change you need. A technique developed by Mark and Pete used by Team GB in 2012 and Formula 1.

The Brilliant Idea:

Join our much-loved Salon alumni, the University of Cambridge’s Professor David Tong as he explains the legacy left by his friend and colleague Stephen Hawking. He’ll explain Stephen’s work in language we can all understand, what the work means for us, and what it was like having to tell him his maths was slightly wrong!

Inspiration in Unusual Sources:

We’re so proud to present the Dao of Jazz - a session we have developed to help us understand our own philosophy by listening to music. This is an extraordinary session in which you can find illumination, consolation and new ideas on how to live by listening to live music by Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davies. This finale to April’s Salon features Salon London’s Juliet Russell on vocals, John Wheatcroft on guitar and Dr Julian Baggini on philosophy.

Doors open 7pm, 18 April. Covent Garden - venue announced on the day. Tickets are £15 or why not become a member and get access to all Salons in a year?
