In 2014 we launched The ‘brainy’ Also Festival, worked with over two hundred exceptional speakers and were named No 6 on the GQ list of the best 100 things to do in the world.

Salon London is interesting cultural content curated for the interested. We take an idea and we look at it laterally from an arts, a scientific and a psychological point of view. Salons take up to two hours and appear in beautiful spaces across the capital and beyond.

INNOVATE is the first Salon in our Innovate, Create and Motivate Salon North Series. Jamie Bartlett, Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media at the think-tank Demos, will be on the Salon North stage to help us understand how we can learn from the groups lurking in the shadowy areas of the internet. Jamie’s work shows there’s a lot of innovation on ‘The Dark Net’, if you’re brave enough to enter.

John Higgs made sense of why one of the biggest bands in the 90s deleted their entire catalogue at the height of their fame, with his book The KLF: Chaos, Magic and the Band Who Burned a Million Pounds. This time John has taken on the entire 20th Century, and will be taking us on a totally lateral jaunt through a millennia looking for what was truly new, unexpected and radical, and what we can learn about those innovators to change our own reality tunnels.
